Raymarine announces new Managing Director for its German subsidiary

 

Raymarine has appointed a new Managing Director at Eissing GmbH. Thomas Günther will be joining Raymarine’s German subsidiary on 17 January, during the Dusseldorf Boat Show.

Günther brings an impressive 15 years of expertise in consumer and business management, including sales and marketing. He joins the company from Metrologic, where he was Director for Central Europe, responsible for business in the Automatic Identification, Laser Bar Coding and RFID technology sectors. Speaking five languages, he has extensive pan-European expertise in business to consumer, and business to business sectors, and has an Honours Business Marketing degree specialising in Marketing and Finance.

Eissing GmbH was set up as a family business in 1956, and was acquired by Raymarine in August 2007. The company employs 38 staff across its sales, distribution and servicing operations, with its head office located in Emden, Lower Saxony. It has two sales and servicing facilities located in Hamburg and Bernau.
Thomas Günther will take over the role of MD from Thomas Eissing.
