It seems that the ybw.com stand has created quite a stir. Three elderly men behaving badly invited the female compliment of the ybw crew for a trip on their yacht. Favourite have been the ybw.com sticks of rock, to such an extent that one couple were willing to trade bananas for seconds.

Amongst the many sailing celebrities which can be spotted admiring new boats or trying on the latest yacht club fashion accessory, presenters such as Jamie Theakston and a member of the Westlife group are but a few of the familiar faces to have visited the show.

Don’t miss hearing Ellen MacArthur and Mike Golding speak, directly to us on the Yachting World stand 89G, from the Southern Ocean as they race in the Vendee Globe Challenge. Ellen will report at 1300 on her position in the race, Mike is scheduled to broadcast at 1530.
