Sealine and Princess kick off the first day of the London Boat Show

Tamara Ecclestone cut the ribbon at the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show this morning in the ExCel Arena.

The event kicked off with a champagne breakfast at the Sealine stand, with the company celebrating their 40th anniversary. Sealine’s sales director Douglas Culverwell also announced that customers intending to buy a boat during the show would be presented with a 40-year-old bottle of brandy.

Princess soon followed with two new model launches for the V39 and the V57, with many press and visitors in attendance to catch the first glimpse of the two new boats produced by the Plymouth-based boat builder.

At 11am the official opening ceremony was held at the Tullett Prebon lounge in the South Hall with Formula 1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone’s socialite daughter, Tamara, brought in to add some glamour to the proceedings.

The heiress and model was joined by a group of 1940s inspired dancers in matching swimming costumes and high heels, which proved tricky for one of the group as she slipped down the stairs during the opening ceremony.
