It took 20 firemen to battle flames on 60ft motoryacht

Wiring beneath the floorboards of a boat has been blamed for a blaze that took 20 firemen to put out, investigators have said.

Firefighters joined the Fort Lauderdale Fire Boat when an emergency call reported that a 60ft yacht had gone up in flames at a marina in Miami on Saturday.

The fire brigade had to cut holes in the deck of the boat in order to reach the centre of the fire, reports CBS Miami.

No one was injured in the fire, which the fire brigade contained to an interior space in the stern.
