The Sea safety section in association with the RNLI has been updated with new content

Visit the YBW’s sea safety section, there’s new information in four areas (including two new sections).

Lifeboat stations are found at the heart of the communities which they serve. This month we focus on five of the nine lifeboat stations in South Wales.

You can read a first hand account of how the RNLI crew members save lives around the country. This month’s story involves Port Talbot’s inshore lifeboat crew who found their training and courage tested to the limit.

The RNLI always recommends wearing a correctly fitted lifejacket or buoyancy aid when boating. You can read their advice on maintenance and fitting your buoyancy aid.
