Floating shoe spotted in the Solent

A boat that resembles a giant deck shoe made an appearance at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show.

The boat is modelled on the famous Sebago ‘Docksides’ and was built in the USA. She’s built from fibreglass and acts like a catamaran, balancing on two floats that proved stability and sea-worthiness.

The Sebago Shoeboat was repainted at the beginning of the year, freshening up her classic red, navy and white colours that were used for last year’s anniversary Docksides celebrating 40 years of the design.
