Italian designer Fendi makes its mark on Princess's 98 Motor Yacht

Princess today debuted its 98 Motor Yacht, with detailing, furnishing and interiors designed by the internationally renowned fashion design house, Fendi.

The motoryacht, which has attracted international visitors to its berth at the PSP Southampton International Boat Show, is the first of Princess’s collaboration with Fendi to be publicly displayed.

The interior is the result of a year-long partnership between Princess and Fendi Casa, and is the first of a few vessels that the design label has worked on: a 32m, 85m and V85 all boast interiors designed by Fendi Casa, and have been bought by Russian and Brazilian customers.

A spokesperson for Princess said that the interior of the vessel contains features made from leather, glass and silks designed by Fendi, which were then worked up by its specialist manufacturers to withstand the rigours of life at sea.

The 98 Motor Yacht boasts Fendi-branded shag carpet, silver light fittings, fixtures and fittings, but despite costing an extra £150,000 there is healthy interest from international customers with a number of potential buyers flying into Southampton from overseas to take a first-hand look at the one-off cruiser.

The motoryacht can accommodate up to 10 guests and boasts a foredeck seating area, up to five cabins, a large submersible bathing platform, PWC transom garage and tender stowage on the vast flybridge.
