The 4,500 mile charity jet ski challenge raised over £21,000

Colin Gregg, Dugy Ward and Gary Forber covered 4570 miles as part of a charity jet ski challenge. They raised over £21,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Make a Wish Foundation.

Two years ago Colin and Dugy circumnavigated the UK mainland in 11 days, 8 hours and 45 minutes, smashing the previous record of 15 days and raising almost £25,500.

This time they were joined by Gary, who was in charge of the back-up and support vehicle during the previous challenge.

The team paid for their own jet skis, equipment, accommodation and fuel to ensure that every penny raised reached the charities.

“It is however, still in perfect condition and ready for our next adventure,” said Colin.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has taken an interest in the challenge and a special thank you to everyone who has donated and made the challenge worthwhile,” they said.
