The Honda Formula 4-Stroke 225hp powerboat series makes its 2005 television debut this Wednesday

The Honda Formula 4-Stroke 225hp powerboat series makes its 2005 television debut on the 19th October. The opening round of this year’s series will be broadcast on Wednesday morning at 02:50am on Channel 4. The following rounds of the thrilling 2005 series will all be shown on Channel 4 with the final two events allocated in Channel 4’s 8am sports slots.

The Honda Formula 4-Stroke championship remains the only powerboat series in the UK to receive terrestrial television coverage, bringing the thrills and spills of offshore powerboat racing to the masses. The record breaking series was initially transmitted on Channel 4 in 2001, becoming the first powerboat series for over a decade to gain dedicated British terrestrial television coverage.  The first of five programs sees the action of the 70mph 225hp class at the opening rounds at Largs, Scotland.
