1. Meet
Sir Ben Ainslie and see the J.P Morgan Bar AC45 Catamaran


You have the chance to meet Olympic sailor
Sir Ben Ainslie at the London Boat Show on January 8. In addition, you can get
up-close-and-personal with the racing multihull that competed in the 2013
America’s Cup.

2. Adventurous
cruising zone


Looking to get more information on cruising
and different boat types? Make sure you head over to the adventurous cruising
zone at the London Boat Show 2014. A wealth of sailing experts will be on hand
throughout the show to give you their advice on anything, from navigation to
pilotage.

3. The
Telegraph Cruise Show


Whether you’re an experienced cruiser or
not, the three-day Telegraph Cruise Show will have everything you need to plan
your dream getaway.  All the major lines
will be in attendance and experts will be giving talks on every key region – you
can even put your questions to them in Q&A sessions.

4. Sunseeker
75 Yacht


Sunseeker will be launching their brand new
Sunseeker 75 Yacht at the London Boat Show in January. This model has four
cabins on board, comprising a full-beam master amidships, two double guest
cabins and an addition twin port. Find out more by visiting the Sunseeker stand
at the boat show.

5. Princess
V48 Open


As you may have guessed from the name, the
Princess V48 Open is another incarnation of the successful V48 that launched at
the Southampton Boat Show. Go and see for yourself how the all-new V48 Open
enjoys sharper dynamics as a result of the big unfolding roof.

6. Water
sports pool


Visit the water sports pool for various
activities such as canoeing, stand up paddle boarding and water walking balls.
You can learn new skills or improve on the ones you have with free taster
sessions throughout the show.

7. Hardy
40DS


Hardy is really looking to impress visitors
to the London Boat Show 2014 with the all-new 40DS. With a spacious saloon,
wraparound windscreen and accommodation comprising of a double master in the
bow and twin guest cabin amidships, we’re sure many of you will want to get on
board and take a look around.

8. Around
the World 72ft Challenger


Get up close and personal with Challenger
72, one of four tall ships use by the Tall Ships Youth Trust for ‘The Ultimate
Sail Training Experience’. The 72ft Challenger will be at the show for the
whole nine days on the dock edge outside ExCel.

9. Sail
barge Melissa


In 1994 the Melissa barge spent 15 years
being refurbished and is now sailing once again. She has lovingly been restored
to the great sailing barge she was one and she’ll be on show at next year’s event.

10. Fairline
Targa 48GT


In place of the open cockpit on the 48
Open, the Fairline Targa 48GT is a fully enclosed upper saloon with two seating
areas and sliding cockpit doors. Meanwhile, below decks, the 48GT remains much
the same as the Open version.
