The new Baglietto 46 m FAST is an evolution of the company’s previous models, and is the result of the company’s collaboration with Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Like many of Baglietto’s sleek, aluminium yachts, the 46 m FAST stands out with its steamlined bow and rakish lines.

The trapeze-shaped windows in the hull alternate with rectangular ones arranged on two different levels, enhancing the slender shape of the hull. The superstructure also has a more compact shape, giving it a more contemporary feel.

As is the trend, the design focusses on maximising the outdoor areas, allowing passengers closer contact with the sea.

The aft area of the upper deck is a huge open terrace overlooking the sea. Featuring teak floors, the area can be used for dining or as a spacious sunbathing area.

The interior has been designed by Paszkowski and architect Margherita Casprini. It is yet to be fully outfitted, but will feature warm shades of rosewood alternated with cooler white lacquered ceiling and side panels.

Four en suite guest cabins are on the lower deck. The master suite has an office, a dressing room, and a bathroom, and is located on the main deck.

The upper deck is large enough to host a comfortable salon with lounge area, the captain’s cabin, and the helm station.

Crew quarters on the lower deck include four twin cabins plus a single cabin and the dinette.

Entirely built in aluminium, the yacht is powered by twin MTU 16V4000 engines, giving a maximum speed of 28 knots.

The Baglietto 46 m FAST was launched on 7 May at the company’s shipyard in La Spezia. It will be on show at the next Cannes and Monaco Boat Shows.
