Limerick Boat Club in Ireland has been left without a roof after stormy weather tore it from the building

A boat house in Ireland has had its roof blown off as gale force winds continue to batter the UK.

The video shows Limerick Boat House moments before the metal roof was torn from the building by powerful gusts.
 
Heavy weather warnings have been put in place ahead of this weekend, with forecasters predicting torrential rain and winds of up to 80 mph.
 
The Met Office has also issued 17 severe flood warnings.
